As another year wraps up I just wanted to offer my Holiday Wishes to everyone out there. Here’s hoping 2011 is a great year for each and every one of you!
Plus, I wanted to pass along a couple notes about getting the DVD of the film. There has been some confusion because of the way we have set up the pre-ordering process. We had decided to not charge your credit card until the DVD’s actually ship next month, but the $0 amount has been a bit confusing, especially if you put in a coupon code on top of that because you can’t see what the actual discount is. We could have charged you up front, but we didn’t think it was fair to hold onto your money for a month. Anyway, once your DVD ships you will get the transaction detail emailed to you.
That is also when you will get access to your 5 bonus gifts, as listed on the store website. In case you don’t know what they are, they include:
a) All 6 poster designs for the film, in a digital format
b) Excerpts from the two books shown in the film
c) 52 insightful quotes emailed to you weekly
d) The Dreams Awake Portal, which includes a universe of 13 websites
e) A secret bonus gift concerning the Dreams Awake Tour
The one I am the most excited about is the Portal site, which we are still building, some in partnership with others. Three of the websites have to do with the film directly, and the other ten are content sites that relate to the film, some more directly than others. These content sites will have new content that will be continuously updated for as long we can keep it going. Part of that will determined by how involved you want to become in its continuance. It’s also possible that all the sites may not be completely done once the DVD has been shipped, but they will have all content immediately available to you. And finally, this portal will not be available until you receive your DVD, because each DVD will have its one unique portal key code for access into the portal. So yes, you have to get the DVD to get access to the portal.
Anyway, in 2011 we hope that you will not only enjoy the film, but that you enjoy all the little extra goodies that go with it! Have fun and be well!!
