There have been a number of requests for us to have more video that is related to the film in some way available for you. So, that’s exactly what we’re going to do. We will periodically be putting up several different types for you to check out:
Behind-the-Scenes – We of course have some of this in the extras of the DVD, as well as several videos on YouTube and Facebook. However, we have over 35 hours of material and we maybe used a total of 30 minutes so far. Now a fair amount of it isn’t interesting enough to use, but I think we probably have at least 3-4 hours that is quite usable. And to make it easy to watch without too much investment in your time, we will put it out in 90 second segments.
Deleted Scenes – A number of scenes in the film never made it out of the editing room. So, we’ll put those together and see how they look. Of course if you haven’t seen the film, they may not put very much in context.
Outtakes – These should be interesting, probably revealing why we didn’t use them at all. But off the top of my head I don’t know that very many really stuck out. We shall see.
Cast Interviews – We have put some of this on YouTube and Facebook, as well as being part of the DVD extras. But we have more material from those interviews we can use.
Other – A couple years ago I put on a film seminar at the Mt. Shasta International Film Festival. We also had Erin Gray and Tim O’Connor, two of the major cast members, Bob Gordon, our editor, and Renee Prince, our production designer, on a panel talking about the film. We videotaped it with 2 cameras, and it lasted for 3 hours. We will be taking snippets from that also and posting that material.
More Other – We have a number of still pictures that were taken during the production which we have never used. We will put those into video form and post that.
Whew, I think that will be plenty of material to satisfy anyone. Now to work on it …
