As of this writing, we are excited to announce that we have received confirmation that “Dreams Awake” will be screening at two more film festivals, one domestic and the other foreign.
The first one will be the Brasov International Film Festival and Market in Brasov, Romania. Yes, this will be our European Premiere, and will happen this month (July 19-29); we are still awaiting word for the exact time and day. We are currently trying to arrange that trip, since there are so many things to consider. Passports, flights, hotels, maybe international driving licenses, and just planning to see any sights in Romania. In fact, we will be in the province of Transylvania, and near the castle of the Dracula legend. So, we may just have to check that out. It also looks like “Dreams Awake” is going to play outdoors in the famous Piazza (Piata) Sfatului, the central square in the middle of Brasov. Should be fun, and very interesting!
The second festival is the Columbia Gorge International film Festival in Vancouver, Washington, just across the Columbia River from Portland. “Dreams Awake” will be screening at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 18th at the Kiggins Theatre on main street in downtown Vancouver. Several of us plan to attend, so it you’re in the area please come and see us. The Pacific Northwest is one of my favorite parts of the country, so it will be a real treat for us. You can go here for more info about this film festival- http://www.angaelica.com/festivals/2012cgiff/ or sign up on the Facebook Event Page if you want – https://www.facebook.com/events/357142474356855/
And finally, because we have been getting into more festivals, and winning awards, we have had several festivals asking us to submit to theirs. We certainly love that, so there are bound to be more festivals on our horizon. I just hope we get to screen in your area!

This sound like complete desperation. After listening to the many, many years of what you say your film is about this seems dragging you down into the dregs of hollyego. Don’t fall for it Jerry Pull out., Your vampyre.
I have to say this is one of the more odd comments I’ve ever received. So, you believe vampires are real, then? So, if I go to this castle based on myth that I am debasing the film somehow? Have you maybe bought into this mythology a bit too much, and maybe you’re having trouble parsing out reality and illusion? But then again, maybe this is all just tongue in cheek, and you’re having fun with it. Because I see no other way to take this. It would be nice though, if you had the courage to say who you really are, instead of hiding behind your ‘vis’ identity. But then again, that’s all part of the joke, right?
