As this year winds down it seems we may actually be on the last leg of our long film festival run. We finished up recently being in Manhattan, where I thought we had one of our better Q & A’s after the screening. At both the festival in Beverly Hills a couple weeks before and the Manhattan screening, we did not have a lot of people show up. But I have to say the film looked great on their big screens. I suspect because we were playing late at night and were the last screening at both festivals, that that did not help us out at all. Can’t complain though, as we did get to screen there and that is worth something. Plus, we got to spend a couple extra days in New York and have a little fun.
Now we can look forward to the big film festival in Monaco coming up on Friday, December 7 at 8:20 pm. We will be the opening night, showcased film that evening, and our company will be hosting an opening night gala after the screening. Also it is a formal affair, with tuxes, black tie, and formal gowns and all, with the high society of Monte Carlo invited to the affair. In addition, Erin Gray, the lead actress in the film, will be attending with us. So it should be a fun and intriguing night for all.
And now we have to consider what may be in store for ‘Dreams Awake’ in 2013. At this point I am not totally sure, but we do have some options. Stay tuned in 2013!
